Description:

Urena lobata is an annual, variable, erect, ascendant under shrub and measuring up to 0.5 to 2.5 m tall. The stems are covered with minute star-like hairs and often tinged purple.

Habitat:

It is widely distributed as a weed in the tropics of both hemispheres including Southeast Asia.
