Yes, we heard about it too, but here in the Fraser Valley in southern BC, we didn't feel it at all. Thanks for your concern for everyone.
If it was a month or so earlier, it could be courtship, but July 23 is too late for that in the Cascade Mtns where this is photographed. Could be a juvenile and an adult but it was interesting to watch whatever they were.
