Description:

A large clumpy nudibranch crawling across the reef. I still think the thing on his rear looks like a palm tree!

It is funny, there is a sign at Hanauma Bay, where this was spotted, that clearly shows this Clumpy Nudibranch labeled as 'Spanish Dancer". But the fish book I own definitely has it as Clumpy Nudibranch.
Drew: I think I have found a correct ID for your nudi: Asteronotus cespitosus. check my ID suggestion above.
Hi Drew: This is indeed a nudibranch but I have my doubts that this is a spanish dancer. Spanish dancers are red and not warty. Such as this: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6267458 I will check if I can find an ID for this nudi you are showing us. In the meantime I welcome you to add your spottings fo nudibranchs and opistobranchs to this mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/7791306
