Amazing spotting DanielePralong.You got there.
Thanks DrNamgyalT.Sherpa! The first shot I took is actually the second one in the series. I could focus on the bird's eye while it perched. I then locked the focus and waited for the bird to fly off.
Congratulations! Spectacular
Hey another one! Congrats Daniele
great spotting, SOTD well deserved@ A hearty congrats, danielle!
Thank you Tiz and António! Tiz, here's the trick, in this case at least: the second shot in the series is actually the first one I took: the bird was perching, motionless. From there I locked the focus on the eye before the bird took off.
Danièle when i comment it yesterday i have almost sure that this one deserved a SOTD,super cool my friend, congrats on one more SOTD and thanks for sharing your awesome spotting page
what a great moment and capture Daniele! I wish I could get the eye of a bird in flight that clear :) So impressed!
Thank you Karen for the honor, and thanks everyone for your kind comments!

Great photos and series! Congratulations for the SOTD honors, Daniele!
Congratulations, Daniele. Lovely bird and fantastic photos!
Wonderful capture Daniele! Congratulations, your beautiful buzzard is Spotting of the Day! As its name suggests the common buzzard is one of the frequently seen raptor species in Europe. Members of the Buteo family are known as buzzards in Europe, but hawks in North America, where to add to the confusion, vultures are often colloquially referred to as “buzzards”! Oh, wow. Not what I would consider a "buzzard" at all! Different place, different name I guess.
Thanks J and António! I often see them far in the distance, but this was special.
