Description:

Tubular purple flowers in drooping clusters. Each flower had a white stripe across the middle.

Habitat:

Growing naturalized in a woodland garden.

Notes:

This plant has been cultivated for many years for its medicinal properties. It has since become naturalized and grows in woodland areas and meadows.
