Field Notes

Description:

Very small caterpillar. Amazing pink coloration with lighter and darker markings. Typical leg arrangement for Family Geometridae.

Habitat:

Suburban garden, found on Mums in a planter.

Notes:

I was surprised to find a caterpillar so late in the fall and to find one of such wonderful coloration. Unfortunately, the light outside wasn't fantastic so my images are the greatest.
