very nice spotting, and I would agree with you. Sometimes it is best not to tell the exact location of a spotting. I could give you many reasons why, but I suspect I would be preaching to the choir.
He was extremely lethargic and didn't even care that I was near him. If people knew there was a poisonous snake there, well..it's best I don't reveal his hiding spot. There are plenty of frightened and ignorant people who would kill him without hesitation- and it would certainly be a shame if he was killed.
I found him in the usual spot for copperheads at a well-forested park near a large body of water. His hiding spot is right next to the trail, but he blends in so well that nobody knows he's there.
