Field Notes

Description:

2.5 feet long female copper head. Seriously pretty coloring. I found her on a gravel road walking back to my car in a glade wilderness area in southern Missouri.

Habitat:

Copperheads are found all through out Missouri, except for the far north portions. They are usually found in rocky hilly woodlands.

Thanks! That's a big part of it. Yes, it's a great community!
I went back and added a little information to all of my pictures, i hope it helps! Its really cool to see people get active in something like this!
I'd love to have some details about your spotting. Can you add something to the description, habitat and or notes boxes?
