Description:

Tiny white capped fungus growing on a very wet, dead tree trunk on the banks of the River Huallaga just out of Tarapoto, North Peru. Caps appear to be hanging downward. Any ideas on ID would be great.

Thanks for the help guys. Will put it in under Copriniod sp. and if anyone else can add anything will hopefully nail it down.
I agree it looks Coprinoid but C disseminatus doesn't grow off solid timber.. usually out of fallen litter/mulch/soil. Mycena spp. is a remote second choice ..except for that external striation?... some extra thoughts to help confuse.
