Field Notes

Description:

This moth was about 10 mm long. Wings were white with narrow black crisscrossing bands. The inner margin of the fore wings had long yellowish fringe. The trailing margin had a short dark fringe.
The moth had short re-curved labial palps.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights near a sports field.
