Field Notes

Description:

Soft, rubbery, smooth brown fungus with a wavy margin about 30mm wide. There was no stipe. Gills were white both short and long with jagged free hanging edges. The gills stopped short of the margin.

Habitat:

Spotted growing on a dead decaying log.
