Hello Geoffrey! This is a very pretty little butterfly you have here. It looks very close to a Pear Crescent, Phyciodes tharos: http://bugguide.net/node/view/411 I feel that this is most likely the Pearl Crescent but you might want to look at a couple of other butterflies in the same genus since some of them look quite similar: http://bugguide.net/node/view/221/bgpage
