Description:

Common tern in Australia with male and female being similar, both have a 'spiky' black feathered head, grey, black and white marked wings and tail, soft grey and white under body and on face, yellow beak. Feeds on small fish and other items such as eggs, sometimes small turtles.

Habitat:

Found all around Australian coastline.
