Description:

Black butterfly with white spots on the top and bottom of the, forward wings. The base of the wings are blue on the top side and red on the bottom side. The body has white spots.

Habitat:

San Diego Zoo Safari Park's butterfly exhibit. This butterfly is "found from Central America to the Amazon." - Wikipedia

Notes:

There are several subspecies that this may be part of.

Hi Noah Citizen, thank you for your suggestion. You nailed the genus and species. I'll update the notes to say this could be a subspecies.
That could be a Doris Longwind (laparus doris viridis). But I am not so familiar with central america butterfly.
