Description:

It is characterized by large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings, and an elongated body. Dragonflies can sometimes be mistaken for damselflies. Dragonflies are similar to damselflies, but the adults can be differentiated by the fact that the wings of most dragonflies are held away from, and perpendicular to, the body when at rest. Dragonflies possess six legs (like any other insect), but most of them cannot walk well. Dragonflies are some of the fastest insects in the world

Habitat:

They are usually found around marshes, lakes, ponds, streams, and wetlands because their larvae, known as "nymphs", are aquatic.

You may upload five photos per spotting, Radu. Well, six actually. Here's the trick: Upload five photos and save the spotting; then edit the spotting and add a sixth photo (if you like) and save again. Your photos are quite spectacular but it would be very difficult to ID the dragonfly without seeing the entire insect. I think a mix of one "arty" photo and several "science illustration" photos works well. Don't be discouraged -- your photos are terrific and I look forward to seeing more of them!

At the risk of "piling on" (a penalty in American football), I would offer the following friendly advice: If you shoot multiple photos of the same organism, then please do not submit those photos one at a time as separate spottings.
