Field Notes

Description:

A large moth from the Eupterotidae family that mimics a broad drying leaf. This one looks more like the male. Yellow in colors with black lines and marks. 2 white dots together at the tip of the front wings.
Body length about 30mm.

Habitat:

Kundasang highland forests, Sabah, Malaysia.

Notes:

Eupterote naessigi is one of the larger moth that mimics dried vegetation. >>>Map accuracy : 20m diameter.
