Description:

Very small, dirty butter-colored butterfly

Habitat:

oak savanahs and their nearby prairies

Notes:

becoming increasing common in northern latitudes, this little butterfly makes a one way migration up the mississippi river valley each year. It usually starts gaining a breeding colony in northern climates toward the late summer
