Earleaf Bellflower

This bellflower species can be found on debris, moraine sediments and in rock clefts. It can occasionally grow on lower altitudes but thrives, for the most part, at altitudes of 1,500 to 2,300 meters.

This delicate flower grows about 5 to 20 cm tall and forms loose lawns or cushions. The stem is simple and ascending; the root leaves are ovate and coarsely dentate. The flower bells are single and apical, forming a few-flowered raceme.
