Indeed it is, actually this is the first time i see one like this. I tried to get the id but i found almost nothing about them... And about the species, not even a similar picture
That's a very nice looking earwig. We don't have any species in California that look like that. Wish there was a nice picture key to the world's species.
Thought it was a rove beetle until I saw those nice pincers at the end!
