Given the area where this was spotted it is most likely red elderberry (Sambucus racemosa ssp. pubens). It could be blue elderberry (S. caerulea). The way to tell the difference is red elderberry has 5-7 leaflets where blue elderberry has 5-9. Otherwise wait until it fruits. The common names are derived from the color of the berries.
