Description:
The eggs are white and weigh around 600g. When the nest is full of eggs, the male accept responsibility for shock them. The eggs hatch in six weeks and all in the same day. Those who do not hatch are placed out of the nest. The cubs are the Parent Care and reach adulthood in two years.
Habitat:
Plains of South America, from Brazil to southern Argentina, lives in grassland and savanna regions.

This "Ema's Egg" is from nursery of the zoo in my city, "Ilha de São Pedro" ("St. Peter Island")
