Description:

The emus are native from Australia and are considered one of the largest birds in the world (the second largest extant bird). They belong to the same family as the ostrich does. In Uruguay we have rheas but not emus; these ones in particular are found at the "Parque Lecocq" reserve in Montevideo, Uruguay.
