Field Notes

Description:

The flowers are trumpet shaped the corolla is 8 mm in diameter, the petals form a tube or funnel which is about 20 mm deep.

Habitat:

Coastal dune scrubland, in the most dry parts of Yucatán.

Notes:

Hummingbirds used to become crazy when this things were blooming.
Do not remember the actual date, this was an analogic picture scanned recently.
