Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Erebinae. A common Underwing moth. TL 19-24 mm. WS 30 mm. Pepper grayish brown FW has a wide black band in basal area. Block spots and blotches. HW is yellow/orange with wide black/brown border. Hosts: gum, hickory, walnut

Habitat:

Near woodlands and meadow. Attracted to light
