Field Notes

Description:

Larvae, about 10 to 12 mm in length, black and red, with black head and legs.

Habitat:

Seen on edges of coniferous forest on one side, and edges of an abandoned house garden. Lower slopes of Jura mountain range; lake Geneva valley.
