Description:

Striking black adn red pattern in adults, completely red in nymph stage (photo 3).

Habitat:

Seen in September in a nearby big park, in a big colony consisting of adults and larvae, crowding under the bark of trees. Nymph seen close by, on the same tree, but alone. Very common, always appears as a colony.
