Field Notes

Description:

About 6mm in length, each. Pronotum pinkish with yellow lateral margins and a large medial black mark that runs the length. Elytra completely black.

Habitat:

Urban garden on a Honeyvine Milkweed leaf.

Notes:

This mating pair was fairly active despite being joined together. They moved around on the leaf quite a bit.
