I don't think I could see any birch trees nearby...? I've just noticed there's a weird band on the left of the cap which has no velar scales

thanks Patty I also think fungi are difficult. I'd like to learn about fungi and wildlife of Uruguay because I hope to one day do a fungus tour of South America and visit my sister in Buenos Aires, Argentina
You have plenty of spottings and know a lot about fungi; this is a very interesting and what I believe difficult field of study. I have always thought this agaric ones were sort of smurf like, nice spotting.
