Description:

Red ants with black abdomens, hanging out with all red and all black flying ants. Foreground of 4th photo shows ant with bottle like thorax. Ants were running all over the place like they're plotting world domination. What are these things? Just 1' from our house. I know these aren't termites, but not sure what species of ant.
