Small, brown, nocturnal mammal able to glide from branch to branch.

Habitat:

Large pine tree.

Notes:

Photos taken at 10 pm in dark - flash photography

Britt I had no idea we had them either until a few years ago while sitting on patio at cottage one night, one landed in our feeder. I use to bring the feeders in at night to prevent raccoons but now leave peanuts out for these guys. They also love black sunflower seeds.
So cute! I recently read that we have flying squirrels in my area but I have never seen any. Maybe I'll try the peanuts in the bird feeder like you've got there :)
