In Alaska I don't see many parasitic plants, but when I do, they are so interesting to see. Especially Boschniakia rossica when it is in full bloom.
I found this specimen among weeds and grasses near a cliff on our way towards the Sagada Hanging Coffins, Mountain Province, Philippines. The place has a relatively cold climate. I too am interested in parasitic plants such as this. :)
Very interesting find! Do you mind describing the habitat where you found these growing in the habitat section? I love to learn about parasitic plants.
