Description:

Eastern gray squirrel has mostly gray fur with a white underside and a large bushy tail. Head and body length is from 9 to 11 inches plus the tail about 7 to 10 inches. It has 4 toes on the front feet and five on the hind feet.

Habitat:

Gray squirrels live in mixed hardwood areas. Oak trees with acorns attract gray squirrels.
