Description:
Gray Tree Frogs can change colors and can be a mixture of colors as well. They can go from a near white color to an almost black color, depending on their surroundings. They are very small in size ranging from: 1.5 to 2 in (3.8 to 5.1 cm) They have very big toe pads that allow them to climb almost anything. The last photo of this series shows the size relationship to U.S Nickel
Habitat:
These tree frogs live in primarily wooded areas. They spend most of their time living in the tree tops.
Notes:
This spotting was made with my two Grandchildren (ages 7 and 2). We went out looking for wildlife in my yard. Which is sometimes referred to as a jungle. I am training both them to love wildlife and to not be afraid of some of the bugs and other unusual things that Grandpa finds for them to learn about.
