Habitat:

Rock and sandy stretch formed by a recent land slide by the side of a river.

Notes:

The day happened to be dull and cold hence this sergeant was sitting on this warm rock to bask itself.

Thanks Jellis for the leads. This one goes with neither of them, however. There are gross differences.
