Description:

A Bee mimicking Fly. Relatively small hoverflies, not more than a half-inch or 10 mm, with complex yellow abdominal markings. Larvae and puparia are bright green. Adults feed on nectar and also pollen.

Habitat:

Spotted at Central Park area, New York
