Jaguarcillo

Very similar to Cistus clusii. In Halimium umbellatum inflorescences form clusters in knots of the flowering stem, as can be seen here very well, in the second picture. In Cistus clusii inflorescences are well-developed twigs culminated by the flowers arranged more or less tightly (umbelliform tops).

When in fruit capsules of H. umbellatum presented dehiscence or opening on 3 leaflets, not 5, as it is typical of the genus Cistus and Halimium respectively.
