Field Notes

Habitat:

Gum (eucalypt) forests.

Notes:

This spotting was actually along the road to Cape Otway Lighthouse, Cape Otway near the Great Ocean Road, Victoria. The koalas were just sleeping in trees alongside the road! This is the only time I have spotted koalas (I've heard them aplenty) and an excellent place to come spot them in the wild.
