Field Notes

Description:

About 20 mm in length, colored as shown. Male has swollen hind femora and a "kink" in the hind tibia.

Habitat:

Mixed conifer forest with understory of Gambel's Oak and chokecherrry among other shrubs.

Notes:

This pair was mating.
