Description:

This insect sucks the sap from the cones of various coniferous trees. These bugs may enter houses when the weather turns colder and like to make a home for themselves in beds. Where I saw them, they seemed at home on a purple thistle.

Habitat:

Seen at Mason Farm Biological Reserve
