Description:
Stockier in built than cheetas and servals, which are the only other spotted cats of similar size in the subregion. ground color is pale buff to golden yellow, with black spots forming rosettes on the flanks, hips and shoulders.( Smithers' mammals of southern africa a field guide. fourth edition)

Notes:
Last hour in the kruger, speeding to the gate when they notice us of this sighting. Certainly the most exciting minutes of my life, watching it lazely stretch in the sun :)
