Field Notes

Description:

Adult, photographed completely underwater. Pale spotting on this individual, paler than other "leopard frogs" present. Could this be a White-lipped leopard frog (Lithobates maculatus), or perhaps a hybrid with that species?

Habitat:

Artificial pond in mature pine-oak forest (1700 meters a.s.l.)

Notes:

Visit to Uyuca Biological Reserve, with Club BioZ.
