Field Notes
Description:
Very Very Large All White Mushroom.
Stalk Was 19 inches tall, see photos.
White Flatish Cap is10 inches Across.
Bottom of Cap was all white & Vained.
Habitat:
Located in Canton, Ga in Cushing Memorial Park. In Mixed Woodlands.
It was next to a borderline fence but was so heavy that it still fell over.
Soil is a mix of red Clay & small rock particles.
Notes:
It IS the largest Mushroom I have ever found. It has rained for several days. Sorry for poor quality of photos but it was raining heavily & I wanted to get Photos before something else took it away.
