I could not find any pictures of most of the Stagmomantis species.
Mr Goldfish I changed this back to just the genus. There are a bunch of different species of Stagmomantis and not many pictures of the other species on the net.
Another species of Stagmomantis I think it could be. http://mantodea.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1183452
Mr. Goldfish do you have another species that this might be? Thanks for any help you might have.
Might not be S. carolina. I think its thorax is long but maybe not.
Tom every Mantis is amazingly beautiful if you able to spot them in their own habitat. Till I spot I did not know what a mantis can be here is one special specie from India..... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/15852005
Thanks Ashish. Carolina Mantis is highly variable and looks like a good choice.
May be following or related to it... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolina_mantis
Mantis has many kind mimic shapes match with their habitat.
