Description:
Large mantis. Green. It approached the light on the mobile quite aggressively but did not like the camera flash. Unfortunately it was too dark not to use it; the last photo shows how dark it was.
Habitat:
Bon Farmhouse, village Kewzing. A remote village in Sikkim. Himalayan foothills. Lush vegetation. It clung to the metal grill of the balcony but was gone the next morning.
