It is the genus (Baetis) and from this dorsal view I would suggest the species tricaudatus.
Jacob, sadly this was the only photo that came out. This was a seriously tiny little guy!
The orange eyes appear to be reminiscent of the genus Callibaetis: http://bugguide.net/node/view/13698 Do you have a picture of the wing veins? That sometimes helps.
I know that keith - that's what it says as the common name! I'm hoping to get to the species.
