I found this on a bladdernut leaflet (Staphylea trifolia) near Natural Bridge, Virginia.

Definitely crazy eyes. This is the only time I've seen a mayfly like this. If the bladdernut hadn't been in bloom, I'd have missed it.
It sure does. And as you can see from the different views, it looks as if they follow you.
