Long-Flange Millipede - Asiomorpha coarctata - http://cookislands.bishopmuseum.org/species.asp?id=9073
Hi Wilson and Scott, I was looking into Wilson's suggestion and I found the distribution is North America, but along I found the ID for South Asia. I am including the text from Wiki. //Other superficially similar species include Anoplodesmus saussurii[6] and Asiomorpha coarctata (Paradoxosomatidae), the latter species being native to Southeast Asia but widely introduced around the world, including the American Gulf Coast region.[7] The ability to secrete hydrogen cyanide is shared by other members of the Polydesmida.// I hope this is Asiomorpha coarctata.
Please note that Harpaphe haydeniana is from the Pacific northwest of North America and that there are some to several millipedes with a similar color scheme in south Asia and elsewhere.
