Field Notes

Habitat:

forest (on an oak)

Notes:

Had first noticed on the ground, and recognized as mistletoe, but at that time I did not know mistletoe is hemi-parasitic. Learned that in reading about mistletoe. Because the trees were bare at that time, I finally spotted it in the upper branches.
