Field Notes

Description:

During some hikes in several nature parks/reserves, I ended up seeing some very cool things. In the Macritchie Reservoir I ended up seeing a ton of monitor lizards. (Varanus) This monitor lizard was around 2 meters long. I took some photos of this one laying in the grass at the entrance, and I managed to capture some cool shots.

Habitat:

Monitor lizards (varanus), live in tropical and sub-tropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Australia.

Notes:

These pictures were taken on a school trip by me. I was using a 'Canon PowerShot SuperZoom Camera.'
