Field Notes

Description:

Elongated. Body largely white with black squiggly marks. If you look closely there is a touch of bluish-gray too. Fuzzy legs. Quite large.

Habitat:

Resting quietly on the bamboo walls of a cottage at the Kolakham Retreat, Village Kolakham; a remote, forested area at an altitude of 1868m. It is situated in the Kalimpong Hills of Darjeeling District, on the fringes of Neora Valley National Park.
